About

René Kanzler is often called a photosopher.

“Tuone” is an important aspect with the works of the German artist who is concerned with the tintinnabulation of the “Lifeworld” – “tuoning” up, down, in, out …

In time-consuming processes, he deals with photography from the widened perspective of the Photographic (Images).

In consequence of its plasticity of finite flatness – another aspect of his approach –, René Kanzler focuses on polyphony and timbres of the canon of images, texts and textures as “Form of Life”.

Categories like “abstract”, “concrete”, “conceptual”, “documentary” are less of his interest – he is the post-structuralist under the photographic artists somehow.
